A Moshav is a type of Israeli town or settlement, in particular a cooperative  agricultural community of individual farms -pioneered by the Zionists during the second wave of aliya. ( 1904-1914) 
The artist Michelle Katz lived and painted in scenic leafy, green Moshav Beit Meir for 9 years while raising 6 young children.
